Keep Oakland Housed is seeking a visionary leader to lead the first Oakland-wide homelessness prevention program. Founded in 2018, KOH has prevented more than 5,000 families from losing their housing, and had the infrastructure in place to respond rapidly to COVID-19 and ensure that thousands of households were not evicted or displaced. This newly-created position will bring this dynamic collaborative from the three year pilot phase into the future.

This is a strategic leadership and operations position that oversees strategy, policy, fundraising, outreach and administrative and operational oversight for KOH.  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all KOH Collaborative administrative functions, including but not limited to: 
    • Fundraising
    • Coordination and execution of strategic efforts as set by collaborative leadership
    • Impact and outcomes reporting
    • Community awareness and other public-facing initiative oversight
    • Fiscal monitoring
    • Coordination with Quality Improvement teams on service impacts and data production
  • Assure that services are provided in collaboration with all applicable funding streams and regulations. Responsible to ensure contract compliance with all funders to include grant management, presentations, and reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services, business or related field and a minimum of three years of management and leadership experience in the social service field required.
  • Demonstrated capacity leading diverse and multi-disciplinary teams toward a common goal required.
  • Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel, ability to type 45 WPM.

 COMPENSATION:

Benefits include 20 days paid PTO, 11 paid holidays, fully paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance; and a voluntary optional 403(b) salary deferral retirement plan with an employer matching contribution. Salary is depending on experience.
